Kickstarter money arrived
We're thrilled to announce that the Kickstarter funds have arrived 🥳, marking a major milestone for our project. We appreciate the support of all our backers who were able to contribute.
However, we wanted to inform you that unfortunately, 135 backers were unable to complete their payments. That's a sad thing, but it doesn't change the course of the production.
Next Steps
Let us now talk about the next steps.
We will probably set up a pre-order shop next month so that those who missed the Kickstarter can still support us.
Additionally, we will be working on creating our survey to gather important information from our backers.
Nevertheless we try to send out the bonus games (Stranded Sails & Hourglass) to all backers later this month, so keep an eye on your inbox.
❗Important - Apple ID Backers:
In other Kickstarter campaigns we have had some problems with Apple ID email addresses when trying to contact users via Backerkit Pledge Manager.
"Backers who have pledged to the campaign using their AppleID but haven't completely set up their Apple Pay account (linking their email address to their Apple Wallet) will have issues receiving their emails from BackerKit.
Those backers have a @privaterelay.appleid.com email address and will need to reach out to the creator team or BackerKit Support to update their email address in BackerKit.
You'll be able to reach out to BackerKit Support by clicking the "need help" link from the Lost Survey page: https://www.backerkit.com/are_you_a_backer. When you write in to Support, please provide your name and your Kickstarter pledge number, which can be found in your Kickstarter pledge confirmation email.
Please update your Apple Pay email as soon as possible to prevent this from happening in the future. You can learn more about hiding your email when signing in with Apple here."

Friendly reminder 💚, Failed Payments💲

Hi Backers,
Kickstarter has started collecting your pledges. It is expected that some pledges fail to collect due to payment issues. Kickstarter has reached out to backers with reminders to fix their pledges.
There are around 188 failed payments.
Unfortunately, if a backer doesn't resolve their payment issues within 7 days, they will no longer be considered a backer, and we won't be able to send the rewards to that backer
Thanks to all of you who checked if your payment went through. This quick update is to remind you that there are only a few days left to check and fix failed payments.
Unfortunately, we don't process the payments, so we can't do anything about it. You can contact Kickstarter or your bank to solve the issue if you are one of these backers.

Hard to believe but true, our Kickstarter campaign is over and all of you have helped us to go far beyond our goal! We are absolutely speechless and can't understand what happened. Thank you very much for your trust. Let's start the Solarpunk journey.. We can imagine that you are all eagerly awaiting the launch of the project and that you will finally get your desired tiers.
Give us a moment to breathe and celebrate, then we'll get to work for you and start getting everything ready. With over 6300 backers, it's going to take us some time to get everything sorted and done.
Pets stretch goal
Due to your huge interest in pets, we will try to add them to the game, even though we didn't reach the stretch goal. We can't guarantee this feature, but it might come as a free update after the official release.
What's next?
First, we have to wait for Kickstarter to collect the money - this takes on average 2 to 3 weeks. Please make sure that your cards are covered so that your pledges go through and don't get canceled. After that, we will start preparing the survey and a lot of background stuff. Because we have a lot of behind-the-scenes tasks to organize, it might take a while until you receive your first rewards like the free games, discord roles etc, but we will do our best to send out the rewards as quickly as we can!
